Not an upgrade over the Maxlite2 Let me start by saying I am a Travelpro fan. So why only 2 stars? Because I recently had th Maxlite2 22 inch roll aboard and loved it. It is super light, sturdy, fits in all domestic overheads when placed top first and while it does tip it doesn’t always (mostly when expanded). Sadly, the wheel on my Maxlite2 broke (after about 8 months of around the world travel) and Travelpro warranty stated the wheel is on 6 week backorder. So I figured I’d just upgrade to the new Maxlite3 and continue…

Business traveler’s delight! I left a few items in the picture for size reference.

Great carry on The size is perfect – exaxtly the maximum size that is still accepted as a carry on. So it holds a lot of stuff, but the airlines won’t bother you.Build quality is superb – very lightweight but still feels robust and durable.TravelPro is becoming my favorite luggage company – i also have their 28″ maxlite model, and it’s very good as well. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll buy anything more from them soon, as I expect the current ones I have to last for quite some time…
