Hey everyone! I’m still trying to get my onebag set-up figured out. I figured that maybe if I go with a travel/hiking bag that is on the lower end of 30L, I could also use it as a school bag; however, if I end up needing a 40L+ bag due to camping gear, it would be a bit of a struggle to use it around campus for just school stuff. As such, I was thinking about utilizing a packable daypack as a school bag. The problem with this is that since they’re packable and lightweight, they’re typically not very structured or made for heavy loads and I’m concerned about having my laptop or a textbook rip through.

I was doing research on different possibilities and came across the Matador Beast. At 28L it’s pretty dang big for a daypack, but since it’s made for hikes it should be able to lug around a bit of a heavier load.

What do you guys think?
