Lod Cave (Tham Nam Lod) Northern Thailand
http://lnx2.co/263 Cave Lod in Northern Thailand… is home to a large collection of stalagmites, stalactites, stone columns and other archeological finds.

Nam Lod is around 1km deep cave with a river running through… visitors can float right through to the other end, and out of the cave on a bamboo raft.

Located around 8kms outside of Sappong, in the Province of Mae Hong Son… you can get to Lod Cave by flying into Chiang Mai then taking a bus, car, or motorbike to the town of Sappong.

It’s Thai name "Nam Lod" translates to "water passing through" in English.

The cave has 3 main Chambers The "Tham Sao Hin" (Stone Column Cave) "Tham Tuk Ta" (Doll Cave)… and the "Tham Phi Man" (Ghost Cave).
Tham Nam Lod… also houses some very recognisable rock formations inside – including A Crocodile, Buddha and some stone Elephants.

There were even some ancient timber coffins found deep inside the cave.

Most visitors make a stop at the cave while touring the Mae Hong Son Loop… a popular car/motorbike route through Thailand’s remote northern villages & towns.
