INDONESIAN FOOD in Borneo (ft. Nadia Vega)
Today we eat Indonesian food on our drive from Balikpapan to Samarinda! Dishes we try include Tahu Sumedang (deep-fried tofu from Sumedang), various Gorengan (fritters) containing banana, chocolate and tofu, Cireng (deep-fried fritter made tapioca flour), Young Coconut sweetened by brown sugar, Kampung Nasi Goreng (Village Fried Rice), Karedok (raw veggie salad with peanut sauce dressing), and Nasi Bakar (steamed rice in banana leaf).

Joining us is Nadia Vega, Indonesian actress and singer. Her friend Bruno kindly names what all the dishes are. He also treats me to Durian Ice Cream. Upon the Indo lunch, we prepare for the Nadia’s performance. Watch the video to see the action unfold!
