The One Bag Traveler recommends Gear, Destinations and Adventures. Critique my packing list please – am I taking too much ? We will be going for the whole month and walking / biking through Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris and Belgium. We might go somewhere that requires ‘dress code’ so I have a ‘fancy’ out fit’. jeans

We will be going for the whole month and walking / biking through Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris and Belgium. We might go somewhere that requires ‘dress code’ so I have a ‘fancy’ out fit’.

  • jeans
  • leggings (as pants, yeah I know !)
  • Lorna Jane leggings (for running/ hostels)
  • thermal leggings
  • 2 Kathmandu quick dry hiking shirts
  • 1 ‘fancy’ top (polyester blend, / fake silk)
  • 1 ‘fancy skirt’ (this is a super light skirt made of polyester blend, it may catch fire but it dries in seconds)
  • thermal top
  • 1 light weight sweater / long sleeved top
  • 1 pashmina / scarf
  • 1 beanie
  • 1 cap
  • 1 Kathmandu marino wool hoodie (I will wear on plane)
  • a compact wind proof rain jacket.
  • ankle boots (wear on plane)
  • running shoes
  • 3 pairs socks
  • 7 pairs undies
  • 2 sports bras
  • tooth brush, toothpaste, comb, dr brommers soap, moisturiser, sunscreen, a very small first aid kit (e.g some electrolyte packets, bandaids, paracetamol – just a few things to tide over until we can find a chemist if needed, hoping we won’t)
  • camera and chargers
  • phone and charger
  • head phones
  • maybe a journal and pen.
