Came across these today, and I like them. With the Cordura uppers they’re going to be some of the toughest sneakers on the market and the quickdry/amphibious capabilities mean they should always dry overnight, you can easily wash them if they get dirty or start to smell, and you can use them as sandals or water shoes.

I would be concerned about the full shank being overly stiff for everyday use and the grippy rubber on the soles wearing down faster than normal, but time will tell. They’re also not as good looking as Baabuks IMO, but the black version is still totally acceptable for everyday wear.

They just came out and are currently being sold for around $75, which is pretty good when compared to the competition. I expect the average price to fall even more in a bit as more retailers get their hands on them and start offering sales and coupons and such.
